The Peanut Has Pigtails!

YAY!! This picture on the right is my most favorite picture ever! From the day we found out we were having a girl, I could not WAIT to put pigtails in her hair. Well, now that day has finally come and I must say, they are so stinkin' cute. I made these two little lady bug clips for E and her hair is finally long enough (just barely, but still counts) for me to put them in. She even left them in for almost an entire day... She ripped one out in a fit of rage in her car seat on the way to the store later that night.

Another exciting picture.. my new favorite toy below!! While making peanut's minnie mouse dress for her birthday, my old sewing machine quit :( right before I could put minnie on the dress. I had two options.. to replace a part in my machine or strategically convince John that I just needed a new one. After some extensive research and a few days of convincing, this machine landed on my doorstep and its AMAZING! I have been sewing everything I can find. It even embroiders! Now, not only can I put Minnie on E's dress, I can embroider her name, initials.. anything I want!

This is my friend Grace. We have set up shop in our sun room, so when we are not in the park or doing our kettle bell workouts, we are here! We are even going to try to make some things to sell on Etsy, so stay tuned!

Grace made a really cool skirt!

John and Abe have much less fun during the week...This is them doing homework. Not as cool as pigtails and sewing projects.

This past weekend we decided to have a treat and go to Krispy Kreme. That HOT now sign was just too irresistible and we have been working hard lately! E was very excited about it because she never gets sugar like that!

We thought we would get a picture of E to document her first trip to Krispy Kreme and of course the picture needed the hat in it! However, E does not like hats. at all.

And when I say she doesn't like hats, I mean she REALLY doesn't like hats. So, there she is, full on meltdown over the hat in the middle of Krispy Kreme.

This was the best we could manage

E having her piece of donut. She got the cake version (unglazed) because after seeing the meltdown over the hat, we were afraid to suffer the consequences of a sugar high..

..we were afraid the sugar high might result in destruction like this on a much higher scale.

Another week down, here in Georgia! Only a few more weeks and we will be having lots of family and friends coming in for her birthday!! We cannot wait to celebrate her first year of life--minnie mouse style!
